The WE Heraeus-Lorentz collaboration funds annual workshop(s) and seminars in physics, in the broadest senses. In addition to fulfilling the expectations and requirements of regular Lorentz Center workshops, we ask to have at least one co-organizer based in the Netherlands and one in Germany, as well as around 25% of participants based in Germany. Diversity in gender, geographical provenance, career stage, and so forth, of organizers and participants is strongly advised and will be considered in evaluating the proposals.
The workshop proposals should be submitted on our workshop application portal by May 30. Our scientific boards will make a selection by mid-July, and a final decision by WE Heraeus board will be communicated by the end of September 2025. The workshops selected by the WE Heraeus board will receive full funding from the WE Heraeus Foundation, including hotel and lunch for all participants and travel refunds for some (key) participants. The other workshops in the call will still have a possibility to run as part of our regular program.
