Modelling plant cortical microtubules

10 - 13 June 2025

Venue: Lorentz Center@omega

This workshop will focus on microtubules in the plant context, in particular, cortical microtubules. In the past several years, there have been growing developments in this area, both in experimental and theoretical avenues. With the variety of quantitative modelling frameworks studying separate aspects of this process, it has become difficult to understand the big-picture role of each. In this workshop, we aim to bring the field to a common understanding of the various models and develop a standardization of modelling frameworks to ensure consistency for better understanding the impact of each process, with input from both experimentalists and modellers.
