Yield stress and fluidization in brittle and ductile amorphous systems

This workshop aims to establish a consensus on two hot topics relative to Soft Glassy Materials, namely (i) their liquid-to-solid transition observed upon flow cessation including the emergence of rigidity, and shear-induced memory effects, and (ii) the shear-induced solid-to-liquid transition, including the impact of boundary conditions and the ductile-to-brittle transition.
