Sustainable Development Goals: How do we meet them?

3 - 5 July 2023

Venue: Lorentz Center@Oort

If you are invited or already registered for this workshop, you have received login details by email.

This workshop will bring together researchers, modelling teams and decision-makers to discuss the achievement of the SDG agenda and explore the possible implications for the SDGs beyond 2030. This workshop builds upon earlier community initiatives such as "The World in 2050".

The workshop will focus on transition pathways to meeting the SDG agenda. It will include the first model comparison exercise regarding models and scenarios exploring the achievement of the SDG agenda. Additionally, we will discuss what is needed to improve SDG modelling, what further information we need and whether it is possible to build up research communities similar to those supporting climate mitigation.

Interested researchers and modelling teams are invited to register on this page. All applications received by 15 April will receive full consideration and applicants will be informed about the outcome soon after.

The event is sponsored by the Lorentz Center and the PICASSO project; this project received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the Horizon Europe programme (PICASSO project; grant agreement ID 819566).
