The first two days will be used to explain the topics involved to experts from different fields. We will do this by means of the 2 one-hour long mini-lectures on harmonic analysis (Guixiang Hong), quantum probability and information (Ivan Todorov) and quantum groups (Makoto Yamashita). We will hold informal discussion sessions during the day as well, making researchers from different fields acquainted with the problems.
The remaining three days will contain much more room for discussion, which will depend on the interest of the audience. We will prepare several problems for the problem sessions in advance and ask some of the experts to outline the open problems in their research in a manner which is conducive to interaction and discussion. Apart from that we plan some more traditional presentations on recent discoveries.
The workshop will begin on Monday at 9 am and finish on Friday after lunch.
