This workshop introduces young physicists to industrial research. For a whole week they work in a team on a real company issue. Participants are mostly PhD students or postdocs. In addition, a senior researcher is assigned to each team, to ensure progress and scientific quality.
The previous editions of Physics with Industry were a great success, and this year we can celebrate our 10th anniversary!
Young researchers gain new insights into physics-related problems from companies and the industrial R&D approach, but also expand their network, and experience working in a refreshingly different format, based on a team and a mission.
The participating companies benefit from the academic input, gaining new ideas and contacts. You can see the reports from the previous editions here (bottom of the page).
Last but not least, the workshop is famous for the enthusiastic vibe of its participants and is a fun week for everyone involved.
