Optimal exoplanet imagers

The search for biomarkers requires technological breakthroughs in the development of exoplanet imagers and spectrographs. To address this challenge, we aim to: 1) share the lessons learned from current instruments and new facilities under development, 2) share the latest developments and identify needs in high-contrast imaging, 3) make recommendations towards optimal integrated designs for exoplanet imaging and characterization.
