Nonlinear PDEs on Metric Graphs and Branched Networks

27 - 31 August 2018

Venue: Lorentz Center@Snellius

If you are invited or already registered for this workshop, you have received login details by email.

This workshop focuses on recent progress in a new area of mathematical physics and applied analysis: nonlinear PDEs on metric graphs and branched networks. Naturally, this topic belongs to two major research areas in applied analysis that have been of large interest in recent years: “Dynamics of Nonlinear Waves” and “Dynamics on Complex Networks”. We bring together a multidisciplinary mix of experts in different areas of mathematical analysis (with emphasis on finite and infinite dimensional dynamical systems) and physical applications to discuss and advance developments of recent years. Of particular interest will be existence, stability, bifurcations, variational properties and scattering of nonlinear waves in metric graphs.
