Dynamics of Dominance of Females Relative to Males in a Group
    from 13 Jan 2020 through 17 Jan 2020

Intersexual dominance relations are important for female primates and women alike because of their consequences for sexual coercion and gender equality in private and professional spheres. Intersexual dominance may result from sexual dimorphism, the self-reinforcing effects of winning and losing fights, within-group sex ratio, and, in humans, prosocial behaviour. This workshop aims to investigate the factors and interactions influencing these dynamic processes across primates and humans from an interdisciplinary perspective.
