Giving plants a voice: New sensors for early stress detection and diagnosis

This workshop aims to identify opportunities for the development and integration of a suite of novel high-tech, low-cost sensors for automated wireless in situ sensing of plant biotic and abiotic stress. Giving Plants a voice is an incubator for future collaborations in an emerging transdisciplinary field: it will foster intense discussions and idea exchange between researchers in the Netherlands and European experts on plants, plant pathogens and pests, sensors, electronics and machine learning, to obtain critical mass in Europe.
