Electron Paramagnetic Resonance at High Field and High Frequency: Technology and Applications

10 - 12 May 2004

Venue: Oort

If you are invited or already registered for this workshop, you have received login details by email.

This workshop is organized by the EC Infrastructure Cooperation Network SENTINEL (Service ENhancement Through Infrastructure Networking for Electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy with Large fields). The aim is to bring the members of this network together with experts and interested scientists in the field of high-field/high-frequency EPR spectroscopy, to discuss recent technical developments and scientific advances and to disseminate these results in the European science community at large.

The program of the workshop will consist of a number of oral presentations by the members of the SENTINEL Network, by invited speakers and by scientists whose contribution has been selected for an oral presentation. There will be a poster session and a round-table discussion about present and future technical developments. During the workshop a business meeting of the members of the SENTINEL network will be organized to discuss the achievements and future developments.

The meeting will start on Monday, May 10, 2004 at 12.30 hours with a lunch and will end Wednesday, May 12, 2004 with a lunch at 14.00 hours. The maximum number of participants is 50. In view of the fact that 28 places are reserved for members of the groups participating in the SENTINEL Network and for the invited speakers, about 22 places are available for other interested scientists. These places will be handed out on a first-come, first served basis. The accepted persons are stimulated to submit a scientific contribution to the program. Their contribution will be considered by the program committee  and will be selected either for an oral or a poster presentation.

Please send the title of your proposed contribution (oral or poster) and a short abstract (1/2 page) with the name(s) of the author(s) before March 1 2004. If you have a contribution for the round-table discussion, please indicate this with “round-table”.

There will be no registration costs but the accepted persons are expected to pay their own travel and lodging expenses.
