Deep Infra Red Studies and the Distant Universe: FIRES project

2 - 7 June 2003

Venue: Lorentz Center@Oort

If you are invited or already registered for this workshop, you have received login details by email.

The FIRE survey is a deep NIR survey of two fields of the sky, supplemented with optical imaging, both from groundbased telescopes and HST. The goal is to improve our understanding of the high redshift universe, and to measure the evolution and formation of galaxies.

During the weeklong meeting, we present new results within the team. The format of the workshop will allow ample time for small group discussions and new analysis. Furthermore, we will plan new observing sessions, and the work for the coming year. This meeting is intended for those who are directly involved in the FIRE survey.
