Description and Aim
Nonsuicidal Self-Injury (NSSI) has increasingly gained awareness from researchers worldwide presenting as a highly prevalent, clinically significant phenomenon in youth. Within the last years, different research methodologies have been applied to understand neurobiological mechanisms in NSSI. This workshop aims to connect researchers from different fields of expertise to share their research and experience and create a shared neurobiological model of NSSI. Furthermore, directions for future research should be identified and joint projects will be discussed.
