CSI for 21st Century Challenges

In dealing with the societal challenges that come with e.g., urbanization, digitization and the energy transition, disciplinary perspectives provide only limited understanding. In this workshop we seek to establish Comprehensive System Innovation (CSI) as a transdisciplinary approach in which perspectives on engineering, actor-behaviour and moral values are integrated. CSI needs to contribute to designing policies and strategies that enable us to deal more effectively with the complexity of socio-technical systems in an era of major transitions.
