Coherent Structures: Current Developments and Future Challenges

This workshop plans to bring together leading experts from several communities that study coherent structures from different perspectives (Hamiltonian vs dissipative, continuum vs discrete, analytical vs numerical, theoretical vs experimental). By fostering interaction, each of these communities will become acquainted with the state-of-the-art techniques from the others. These interactions will also lead to crucial discussions concerning new trends and developments in the field both from a computational as well as an analytical point of view.
