Bubbles in the Ocean

The topic of the workshop will be on bubble dynamics in oceanic environments, with particular emphasis on water quality effects in three areas of importance: frictional drag/bubble drag reduction strategies, cavitation, and underwater noise/noise mitigation strategies. Our overarching goal is an interdisciplinary discussion of these topics, combining insights from fluid dynamics, physics, chemistry, marine biology and the maritime industry.
