Biology and physics of the prokaryotic chromosome

This workshop aims to tackle challenges around building an integrated model of prokaryotic chromosome structure in the context of the living cell and its environment. The workshop will bring together researchers who can bridge molecular- and cellular-scale biology using both experimental and theoretical approaches. All participants will collaborate in the creation of a roadmap for the next decade of discovery. A key goal is the creation of new collaborations between the workshop participants, with a particular focus on introducing novel approaches and methodology into the field of prokaryotic chromosome structure.
