Algebraic structures in gauge theory and geometry

Gauge-theoretic invariants of 4-manifolds are of central interest for both mathematics and physics. Recent research demonstrates that algebraic structures, including wall-crossing and vertex algebras, play an increasingly important role in this subject.

The aim of the workshop is to catalyze communication between researchers from both the mathematics and physics community. While the communities have common research goals, their terminology and techniques are often different. The workshop will provide a mix of pedagogical and research talks, to enhance the mutual understanding and make progress on current research questions.
