The first two are located in the direct vicinity of the Lorentz Center, the next four are situated in the town center, and the last one is in Leiden South.
From Bastion Hotel Oegstgeest it takes 15 minutes to walk to the Lorentz Center.
From the hotel entrance at the `Rijnzichtweg' turn left and take the next turn left again
into the `Oude Rijnsburgerweg'. After approximately 700 meters pass through the tunnel under the motorway A44 in order to get to
the other side of it. A little bit further you can see the slant Oort building with the Lorentz Center
on your right hand side. (See map)
From Hotel Haagsche Schouw to the Lorentz Center it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Lorentz Center.
From the hotel you walk towards and cross the Haagsche Schouw bridge and walk straight ahead.
You will cross the busy Plesmanlaan at the traffic lights, and carry on along the Ehrenfestweg.
Turn left into the Einsteinweg passing the mushroom-shaped building there, after which you turn right into the Niels Bohrweg.
From that point You will be able to see the characteristic slant Oort building, situated behind the Huygens lab.

From Hotel Tulip Inn it takes 30 minutes to walk to the Lorentz Center. The entrance of Golden Tulip Inn is opposite the main entrance of the train station, 200 meters to the left. At the bus station, in front of the train station, you may board bus 41 or 43 to go to the Lorentz Center.

The other 3 hotels in the town center are all situated close to the bus stop for
a.o. bus nr 41, at the corner of Haarlemmerstraat and Prinsessekade, opposite the bridge between Kort Rapenburg and the Turfmarkt.
Disembark from bus nr 41 after approximately 10 minutes, at the stop called "Snellius". Alternatively,
you can walk to the train station and board bus 43 to the Lorentz Center.

The Bastion hotel Leiden / Voorschoten is situated in the southern part of Leiden, 3 km from the train station and the city center. It is situated next to the A4, see
map.
From the hotel the Lorentz Center can also be reached by bike (about 20 minutes) or by bus.
The Lorentz Center offers bikes to the hotel guests.
To reach the Lorentz Center by bus, you may take bus 32, with direction Katwijk, which leaves from the bus stop "Cronesteinflat" every half hour at 0.25 and 0.55 hr
It is an 8 minutes walk to the bus stop from the hotel. Disembark at the bus stop "Transferium A44" after a 16 minutes bus trip. From the bus stop it is a 6 minutes walk to the Lorentz Center.
The Transferium is the Parking place (P), indicated in the lower left area of the LC map.
