Lorentz Center Highlights
ABSTRACT: Dark matter is one of the greatest discoveries of the past century. However, unveiling the nature of this elusive form of matter remains of one of the major endeavours of nowadays particle physics and cosmology. I will review the effort currently deployed to look for dark matter with techniques that span over a wide range of disciplines. In particular, I will focus on the so-called “indirect detection” and the possibility to detect dark matter in the very centre of our Galaxy.
